ONGOING PROJECTS

- Orphanages of Thailand Inc.
http://orphanagesofthailand.org/

We raise funds for children at the "Children's Shelter of Wat Bot" in Thailand through our annual Orphanages of Thailand Restaurant Fundraiser and Leo District 4-L4 Talent Show.

- Ronald McDonald House Charities

We clean the house and cook meals bimonthly for the sick children and their families at the OC Ronald McDonald House.  We also raise funds to support the RMHC community.

- Project SEE

Currently in the works.  We "Support, Educate, Engage" our communities in our fight against preventable blindness.  We plan to partner with local and national organizations (i.e. Lions Clubs or American Foundation for the Blind) to achieve our goal.

PROVISIONAL PROJECTS

- Haiti Relief

We raised funds to aid the people of Haiti after the devastating 7.0-magnitude earthquake struck on January 12th.  We donated half of the funds raised at the Leo District 4-L4 Talent Show to the Lions Clubs International Foundation (LCIF).

- LCI Rose Parade Float Decoration and Marching

We help decorate the Lion Clubs International Rose Parade Float every December by cutting, pasting, and placing the diverse flora that makes up the float.  On some years, we also get the opportunity to march alongside the float and demonstrate Leo pride!

Leo Club Objective

"...to provide the youth of the world (with) an opportunity for development and contribution, individually and collectively, as responsible members of the local, national and international community."

Leo Club Motto

Leadership - Leos develop skills as organizers, time managers and motivators of their peers.

Experience - Leos learn the importance of cooperation through community service.

Opportunity - Leos are given the chance to excel, to develop positive character traits, and to receive recognition for their contributions to the community.
